Web application technologies commonly apply same-originrestrictions to network requests. These restrictions prevent a Webapplication running from one origin from obtaining data retrievedfrom another origin, and also limit the amount of unsafe HTTPrequests that can be automatically launched toward destinationsthat differ from the running application’s origin.
